Billy Wooten loads wood into the end of a cow-shaped barbecue during the cook day for the 37th annual men’s club barbecue at Jones Memorial United Methodist Church in East Ridge, Tenn., on Friday. Most of the proceeds are used to purchase winter coats for underprivileged children at East Ridge area elementary schools, according to Jeff Baugh, one of the event organizers.
